News....

News Button

Well hello, all, I thought I'd come let you know what was up with us lately.

Julie's Weight Loss Program
I have joined some friends on a six week fitness and health challenge. Honestly I'm finding it hard to make a goal, since I'd like to lose as many inches as possible!! Haha!! I've been trying to exercise way more, swimming when the kids have their lessons, taking Seth for walks (and starting to run), in his new jogging stroller which I LOVE, and I even went belly dancing today (OWWW -I tell ya, you may not move much, but those muscles get a workout!!)

In other news.... Ryan has a job!!

my new job

Ah Ha ha ha!! No, it's not that, (too bad for him) -He will be roofing in Edmonton, with a group called Centimark. Sadly, he'll be... in Edmonton! At least for the summer. Hopefully he'll get lots of overtime, and we can save up some $$. He has time off for my family's fishing derby, and also his Grandma's 85th birthday family reunion, so that is exciting. We are trying to decide what to do about a second vehicle. Really not on the wish list, and we really don't want to spend money on it, but we may have to. The city is big, and the first job is on the opposite end of the city from where he will be living.
Ah yes, for all those of you wondering why the heck we'd pick Edmonton, it's because his parents live there and he can bum off of them instead of paying a second rent somewhere. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!=)))

Well, what else? I have been looking forward to the church's ladies retreat, which is next weekend. Two nights of being with God and the girls. Who could ask for more? It will also be a last hurrah for me, as Ryan will head out that week!

So, keep us in your thoughts and prayers, God bless!!

Glad to hear that Ryan got a job. It will be hard with him so far away but we do what we have to don't we. It least it's easy to communicate with the internet and such. Years ago it was much harder. Have a wonderful summer. Are you going to be able to come down with the kids for Grandma's birthday? Hope so. Would love to see you. Love you all.
