Once again, kids crack me up!! On the way home from camp, Avery was enjoying reading the signs that provide you with the kilometers to your destination! We'd just passed the turn-off and she was not paying attention, so Ryan said
"Hey Aves! Only 29 clickers 'til we're home!"
Avery smiled and said "Wow!! That's a lot of VCRs!!"
Hahaaha!!
Then I had a friend over for coffee yesterday and her little guy was bowling around her as she sat on the couch with a coffee. She caught hold of his arm, and then got his attention.

She said "Matthew, what am I holding?"
And he said "Me!!"
Hahahaha!!
In the not so funny news, Emma tripped on a rock yesterday, and scraped up her knees and gashed her elbow. Ryan was out, so I called my parents for a back up opinion on whether or not to take her in. It looked pretty bad, I thought she might need stitches. Doctor Grampa took over and got her all cleaned up and bandaged, and Emma was super brave, but I tell ya, I had to work hard not to fall over. I AM NOT cut out for that part of motherhood!! Thank the Good Lord for my Mom and Dad that He provided for such a time as that!! Lol.

I must say, though, Gabe is not the child to ignore when he tells you to come see! She was bleeding all over the place, and he jaunts in the house and tells me that Emma fell and I should come and see her out in the field! Seriously, he gets more excited about bugs!!! Maybe he'll be the paramedic! Gabe and Ave really impressed me with their teamwork, though. Ave stayed with Em, and Gabe came for help. Then without being asked, they both brought all three bikes back to the house. What wonderful little ones I have!!
Have a great one, everyone!! May God bless and protect you today!!

Poor Emma! Hope she's feeling better. You're right. You do have wonderful kids. Please tell me about Ryan's cryptic notes on facebook. A name for your 5th child? And does the union giving back the 2% mean the mills staying open? I've been praying about that for you.
Give Emma a kiss better from Gramma P xxxooo
I love your new layout. It's beautiful and relaxing.
Your Ave is so cute, that's what we call the remote too, the clicker.
That's hilarious that Gabe was unrattled by the sight of blood and a hurt sister, never doubt that your sensitive hearted little boy is a tough little heart too!
Glad Emmy is ok, she'll have lots of scars to tell stories about in playschool this fall!
Missing you, Kyle's been pulling a lot of crappy antics this week, I'll fill you in over the phone.
Ok Woman...you need a new post!! lol
