Well, life is alright. I was a tad bit worried the other day, at about 9:45 am when I felt an invisible suckerpunch to the gut. Dizzy and shaky, I haven't felt like that since the day my Grandma died (before I knew she'd passed). So, I was scared. I called to check on Ryan, but he was at work, so I just prayed harder, and then prayed for everyone I could think of, safety especially. Ugh.
Anyway, I haven't heard about anything terrible that happened at that time, so maybe the prayer was preventative.
At 3:30 yesterday afternoon, though, our little town announced the closure of the last running mill. This was the one that Ryan had been laid off from months ago, they still had some lines running. So that is a huge and scary blow for our small town. I am so sad for these people who thought they were okay. There is just no security in a mill job. No for sures. Maybe that was what the sick feeling was about.
OR maybe, I'm getting sick!! Emma woke up complaining yesterday morning, and sure enough, we spent the morning with a barf bowl in hand. Seth is not himself, and God help me if he starts honking. At least Emma could aim for the bowl!! Lol!! So maybe my crazy belly is just that, but I'm fighting hard. Emma only had one morning of puking, and now seems fine!! yahoo!!
God gave me a beautiful sunny day, yesterday, which was much needed and (God if you're listening) is soo sooo appreciated!! Thank you!!
Ry and I have been having some struggles trying to work out what to do. There are some opportunities in Edmonton and some closer to here. None are perfect, and all have costs. We are working on it, though. I am so blessed to have amazing kids. Sometimes I think 'wow, it's been a month, and everything is still great', and sometimes, I just want him beside me. Hormonal? Haha- nope, just wait a couple weeks!! Lol!
I've been trying to teach Gabe to ride a bike. He is doing well, but I've really buggered up my stupid arm. (For those of you who don't know, I broke my arm when preggo with Gabe (7.5 years ago!!) and each time I have a baby, the injury flares up. Didn't really heal right). Anyway, it is BAD. Like Ow Ow Ow Ow, it hasn't hurt like this since I broke it kinda bad. So that sucks. Eventually, it'll heal, but Gabe still needs help on the bike, and Emma wants to learn too. I am procrastinating, but this week I'll suck it up and get out there and help them!! We've done a lot of falling, and getting back up! Too funny!! At least he has an awesome sense of humor, and has been very brave. On one fall, he ripped open a pair of pants, which he thought was awesome!! Lol!!
Anyway, today Avery went on an out of town field trip. It scared me to no end to let her go, but man I prayed hard! She was so excited, she informed me that she doesn't want to have any play dates after school yesterday because she wanted to 'get prepared' for the trip! Gabe also had a field trip to the pool, which was fun for him.
So, I guess that about catches you up. Hugs to all of you!! Blessings too!! Char
