Long Time No See!!

Okay, so I won't even bother promising that I'll blog more. But I've been a little more reflective lately and decided to write some of my life out. Journaling... blogging, if you will!!

We have been busy around here, especially me! Ryan is home with us full time right now, collecting EI. He has joined the volunteer firefighters here in M-town, and is enjoying it. It's exciting to see how many doors this could open for him in the future. He has also been playing hockey with a bunch of guys on Friday nights, and is becoming a stronger skater/player each week.

I have been babysitting two little boys full time, teachers kids, so the hours are great. Seth really enjoys having someone to play with.

I was blessed to have some people apply for funding on my behalf to start a ladies group for all the women whose husband's are currently working away. It's been a challenging but exciting time, planning, meeting and encouraging these ladies. We've done some learning on nutrition, dental hygiene, wills and the importance of them, and some artsy stuff, like making mosaic hotplates, and paper quilling. This week we are going skating, it should be great!! For all this I get a wage, too, albeit small, every bit counts!!

I am on the strata for our townhouses, which is annoying and a hassle, but I feel like someone has to do it, and I am the only strata member who is still living in town, so it's necessary representation.

I am also the children's ministry coordinator, scheduling the workers, and planning the Christmas Concert every year. Fun!

The kids are growing like weeds, more on them next time. All four are home today, fighting off a nasty cold. So I will hand over the computer to one of them for now!

Must go shower!!
