Doing it!!

10 lbs in total!!!

Went to Curves yesterday, while Ed watched Emmie for me. He is soo awesome. Anyway, it was - weigh in day. For whatever reason, I was a bit nervous, but it turned out alright. I lost 3.5 more inches, (they measure you all over and add up in total how many inches you've lost), and 3.5 lbs. Which means that since Dec 1st, I've lost 10.5 lbs!!! Yahoo!! All those years of thinking I might do it 'one day', and now I'm finally doing it.

In other news, the kids are doing well. We've been having issues getting Gabe to go to preschool, but I really psyched him up this week, and so far, we're 2 for 2. He does get spring break off, too.

Ry and I took in our tax info yesterday, and (once again) Ed and Manny watched the kids for us. I had done it on my own, as I enjoy the number crunching thing, but the return seemed really high, and I was nervous that I had screwed up. Anyway, it turns out that we ARE getting a lot back, and I will be able to get laser eye surgery this year, which just gives me the excited butterflies. However, we still haven't filed, because it turns out we can claim a few more things about our move, which were big enough to wait for. Anyway, this is a huge blessing!! We are working hard at becoming debt free, and this will help get us that much closer!!

We were lucky enough to have a new friend over for dinner last night. She is super cool, and we had a great talk!! Then I headed to badminton, arriving very late, but hey, at least i got to go. 'Course Dawn and Bridget were exausted by then, so I didn't play much, but it did feel great to be out again. Wild horses could keep me away on Sunday!!

Today I have an optometrist appt this afternoon, and other than that, and the income tax phone calls, I don't have many plans. I think I'll take the kids to the library, and return our overdue vidoes.

*gasp*
