So today is Avery's birthday, and Gabe's very first day of elementarty school, and yesterday I broke the camera!! Arghhh!!! So... I do not have pictures to share.
Soooo sad. Yesterday we went down to the sandy beach and enjoyed some sun and water and Gabe fished like crazy with his new fishing rod from Uncle Art. I would have posted some pictures I took of him, but I dumped the camera in the sand by accident (of course, who'd do that on purpose) and now it wont work for us. So thanks, Uncle, he loves it!!
So today was a crazy day thus far. Ave is seven!! Who can believe that? She is gaowing up to be a wonderful little girl, most of the time! Ryan's mom has this ritual of telling her kids all about their 'birth' day, every year on thier birthday. So I've started doing that with my kids. There's nothing like making them feel like they owe you their life!! Haha. Anyway, my girl was pretty brave today, school was all messed up, and she hung in there like a pro.
Gabe did well too, loves kindergarten already!! He can't wait for show and tell (mom, can I bring my toads?) and science (do they do science in kindergarten??).
