Well, hello all. I should be working right now, cleaning like a maniac. If you were to see my house, you'd know why. Mind you, if you could HEAR my house, you'd know why I've already popped 2 tylenol and I'm already considering more!!
Things are alright around here. We've decided to go to Edmonton for Christmas, as Ry is off for that week anyway, we may as well enjoy it and go on a holiday!! I'm really looking forward to it, although I'm really hoping to kick this cold first!!
Went to the dentist the other day and had them refer me to a specialist from Vancouver who comes to Prince, who costs an arm and a leg, for me to have a root canal.

I guess they just were putting me on the cancellation list, cause they called twice with not enough time for me to make it there for the appt. ANYWAY... after a couple days of thinking, I talked to Dawn and she asked why I wasnt' gonna just pull it.
I hadn't thought it was an option, but I looked into it, and so on thurs, I will be losing my first tooth, un-naturally!! Yikes!! Kinda nervous, and I got a big lecture from my Dad, who thinks I should keep my teeth (yeah!! I know!!), but I will prevail, and eat soup and Jello through the weekend, if need be.
Offer up a quick prayer for baby, though. The dentist doesn't like doing anything where you need freezing during pregnancy. They said the second trimester is the most safe, but a prayer never hurts, eh?
In other news, Gabe got his report card today, and is amazing, as we all suspected!! Haha. He is 'meeting expectations' or 'exeeding expectations' in all areas, and got wonderful comments from his teacher.
I am excited to see Ave's when she gets home from school.
Last night our Home group had a Christmas get together which was really fun, and a good evening out. The kids were relatively good for the sitter, and luckilly I didn't have to come home like last time. (They were well threatened!!)
Tonight, I have some awesome ladies coming over for the exchange part of a baking exhange. It should be really fun, and I'm looking forward to it. Of course this contiributes to the title of this post....
To all of you out there in a big hurry, take a breather, and enjoy the blessings of the season. The sights, the smells, the friends, life is soooo (mostly) good!!
God Bless, all, I hope all is good with you. Feel free to leave your comment, even if it's not about what I posted. It always feels good to a blogger to know someone is there reading.

Here is your comment,
ever notice that cleaning a house with children is like shovelling in a blizzard? I swear the crumbs breed on my floor!

We will be praying for Baby of course (we are anyway). Glad to hear you're coming for Christmas. Hope we get to see you but it might be tricky because we're working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day.
