Rambling.... again... and Bob!!

Well, I'm already up, at 7 am, who woulda guessed?? Haha. Today my Mom and I are driving my Grandma to Chetwynd to stay with my Uncle and Aunt for a week. This would make me super sad, but that she will be back with us for another week after that!! While we're there, we will be picking up some new (nephew age) second cousins who I've not met yet. The kids are very excited to meet the new boys, three of them, all similar in age to our kids. It should be great. The boys will be staying with Mom and Dad for the week.

Not much to say. I have been keeping busy. The kids are finally better, and fighting as well as ever. I am very ready for school to start! It already feels like fall here. It was a whopping three degrees when I got up yesterday. No frost yet, but we're close! Time to get school supplies! Gabe is dying for a Star Wars backpack, but I haven't seen a single one. Anyone out there see any? I refuse to ebay it and pay too much!!

Dawn's been gone for a week now, and I'm about ready to die. She must come home!!! I hope she comes home relaxed and ready for the fall. I don't think she's gonna be too happy with the weather, being that they've been in warmer climates, but I also don't think she'll be surprised!! lol. She's lived here long enough to know that August is fall!!

I am super excited that Ryan parents may be coming up for a visit in the next couple weeks!! Yahoo!!

Anyway, a last thought before I go. Yesterday Emma and I were shopping in Fields. She was asking me how much everything cost. "How much is this doll? How much is this shirt? How much is.... etc. etc. etc. !!!" At some point I started ignoring her and I just said "Too much!" to which she replied "But if you had too much you'd get it for me, right Mommy?"

God bless all, Char

P.S. The picture at the top is our friend Bob. Doesn't he look sweet?? Teehee. He SAYS it's his daughter Jaida's umbrella, but he looks entirely too happy with it!!

Thanks for making my husband look like a girlie-man. We all knew he had a feminine side :o) Apparently, Mackenzie Counselling is celebrating their 30th anniversary. Perhaps it's time for Bob to visit them.
