My little Emma Quinn has been cracking me up lately. Mispronouncing words, and saying silly little things.... like 'flumb' instead of thumb, although that one she caught on her own and corrected herself!!
This morning she was looking at the Sears wish book, and was showing me all of the things she wanted (which is pretty much everything). Of course I was pointing out the flaws in all of it, and when she showed me some slippers, I had to laugh. Only one of each pair was pictured, and I said "Emma, there's only one slipper!!" She nodded very seriously and said, "I know, you have to get the other one at a different store!!"
The balancing beam at gymnastics is dubbed the 'bouncing bean', and when the snow is flying outside, it's "freeze and cold" instead of 'freezing cold'!
We were going the post office the other day and the wind was sooooo cold it hurt. I was explaining to Emma that it's called a 'biting' wind, because it hurts like a bite. When we got her all buckled into her car seat, she shivered and said "Ow! My bites hurt!!"
What a little love monster!!!! The joys of being a mommy!! Thank you God for my small girl.

Too cute! We have been writing down Claire's words as they are too funny how she pronounces things. My favorite is be-da-boo (that would be bathing suit!)
