News....

Well, my Mom got a call from the school yesterday, informing her that Gabe's zipper had broken on his jacket. Being that the weather was at a wind chill factor of -37, this was kind of an issue. Finally they decided to TAPE his jacket together!!!!! Hahaha!! Imagine the teacher holding the roll of duct tape while Gabe spins in circles, closing up the coat!! Too funny!! Of course that is not a good permanent solution so today I had the joy of wading through the snow to our two stores and trying to purchase a new coat. you would think that there would be an abundance, but no, there are about 12 jackets in town, for boys. Nine are size 4 and under and the others are those flimsy 'pretend you're a winter coat so someone buys us' kind. Grrrrr. Needless to say, my 6 year old is in the flimsy one, and will most likely have to wear a sweater under it everyday for the rest of the school year. (Well, at least until May!!) If only I had known this yesterday when we were in the city!!!!

Oh yeah, that news. Well, we went for the 'big V' yesterday. I know, I didn't get it done, but seeing that 'WE' had four babies without drugs, I say 'WE' in this instance too!! Lol!! My poor honey. I had struggled a lot with the decision in the last month, knowing that there would be no more babies for us. *sigh*, but it didn't hit Ry until we were leaving. We are pretty blessed by our four angel-kids, but I think we could have babies forever. Although I'm sure we'll change our mind when they hit 13!! Ha!!

Ry is healing well so far, and I am feeling alright about it all. Thanks for all the prayers!!

We did have a great time shopping. Mom kept all four kids for the day, so we got to be alone. We were super blessed with a monetary gift from some amazing people, and got to spoil the kids a bit. It is going to be SO fun to watch them Christmas morning!! We also stocked up on groceries. You should have seen the kids' eyes popping out of their heads when they opened the cupboard!! Teehee. I love my man, and it was good to spend some time being silly with him, and having some great talks. Also, the roads were sooooo awful, and we were amazed and blessed to have Ry drive us safely home in one piece.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, I love the comments!! God bless, Char

You made your man drive home after being snipped? Wow, he must have still been numb! Hope it all goes well and then he can convince my hubby that it isn't that bad, because he doesn't believe me. Go figure?

Glad your trip to the city went good and that Ryan's doing ok. It's a hard decision but you DO have a great family now. Great haircut pictures. And as for Gabe's coat, layers are better anyway.
