Lol!! This was my room in January, as it had been since we moved in. Gag! pink and grey, with a lovely (retch) border that was pasted on then protected with trim that was caulked, glued and nailed to the wall. Grrrr. In February, I ripped off the border and wood, which totally ruined the walls. Soooo awful. I was procrastinating the mudding, sanding and painting -until we ended up with billets from the African Children's Choir. You may have noticed that we live in a three bedroom townhouse and there are six in our family, so this was gonna be a full house! We were very excited, but I needed my room for guests, and didn't want them in a disaster zone!! So I redecorated in a day!! What do you think?

I like it. The walls are still pretty damaged, but I got the paint for free from my mom, which is always a blessing! It's wierd painting 'peach', but I think it works!! I'm sick of brown walls, which is still all the rage, it seems!!

P.S. More about the Choir later!!
