Now let me say why I did that- simply because I was having a 'down' day. One of those days where you're tired, you're a bit unreasonably sad- and it's snowing again. Lol!
I thought- you know, I bet I'm not the only one feeling this way. Maybe I can make a difference today.
Just realizing it made me feel better. Suddenly the day was not about me, it was about so many others that I care about. And that made me smile.
So then I spent some time praying over and sending a little private message to each person that put themselves out there throughout the day.
I removed the post this morning, so confidentiality would be a little more secure. ;) Never fear to ask though, if you need a kind word or prayer.
What I wanted to share is some of the responses I got from those ones who said they 'needed encouragement'. Read on.

Okay- that's enough examples.
So why were so many 'Wow-ing', or Crying?
Not because I spend hours perfecting my words- there were even typos- *gasp!
Not because they 'hate' themselves. Many of these people are strong, independent, vibrant personalities- movers and shakers. People we all admire!
They were moved because we are MADE TO NEED ENCOURAGEMENT. We need it.
Why else would the Bible tell us to do it? God knows we all get weighed down by life and oh my, when we have a gifting, we rarely see it. We simply see the amazing-ness of those who surround us- who can do what we can't do!
So I'm asking you to think of someone today, and send them a little note of encouragement. Make a difference with the time spent at the keyboard. Or go the way of snail mail, and send a card. ;)
It's easy. Just tell them what you like about them. ;) (If they are a friend, it should be super easy). Tell them if you are proud of them, and why, or if you admire them and why. Or maybe remind them that despite really crappy circumstances, they are not alone. Cause guess what? Sometimes we all feel alone.
The love that's poured back on you, is so surprising and unexpected.
Today be love through your fingertips.
