Gabee has a Girlfriend!!!

So... today was an alright day, in all. First, though, I gotta tell you that last night we watched a movie called "the Island". and surprisingly, it was pretty good. Long, but good. Of course we watched with zero expectations.

Anyway, back to today....

Ave came home at noon, actually we went to pick her up after her teacher called to say that she was sick and not eating. She still won't eat anything at all, only water. I feel bad for her. She's not fevered or anything, though, so hopefully it will pass.

Went outside with Gabe and Emmie this morning, tried to build a snowman, but the snow wasn't sticky enough. Instead, I shovelled for almost an hour (Oh my aching badminton arm), adding to our already big snowbank, and then tunnelled it out for the kids as a fort. They played with the little neighbour girl for a full two hours, and then this afternoon Gabe went out on his own to play for another two hours with her.

I went to the Post Office and when I got back, the little girl informed me that she and Gabe were married and this was her castle!! It was so cute. I tried bugging Gabe "Gaaabee, do you have a giiirrrlll friend??" But he doesn't even care. Silly little kid.

Anyway, hugs to all of you, Char

P.S. Ave barfed right as we were sitting down to supper. Right in the kitchen. Mmmm didn't our chicken breast and rice in mushroom soup look good after that!! At least we caught it in the barf bucket!! Thank God for small wonders.
