Dancin fools...

So... today we took Avery to her first school dance!! It was sooo cute. Grandma Dar and i took her to the school for the book fair and 'family dance'. She really wanted to go in, but was biting her nails like crazy. Most of the other kids were dancing like this. ...

We clapped.... and jumped....

and threw our hands in the air...

and did the cadilac ranch...

But mostly, we just swayed. Teehee. I really REALLY have a little white girl!! She is too cute. Grandma Dar said she catches on quick, though, so maybe there's hope yet!!

Anyway, it was super fun. Didn't have the camera, but enjoyed our three songs at the family dance. It's funny... I remember thinking the most awkward moments at school dances were over, but that was before i was at the school dance holding hands with my six year old, her Grandma, surrounded my grade fives, and we were all dancing to Grease!! Ooh my heart. What a sweet moment in time. I am so lucky!! God bless all,
