Father's Day?

Well, i think today was a crappy day for me. Probably Ry too. Maybe he can make it better for himself as he has the kids out fishing right now (hopefully). I taught Sunday School this morning, which was okay, then we had an invite out for lunch. That was good, too, but I tell ya, I am so TIRED!!! I hurt, and I just want to lay and do nothing. My house is a mess. I HAVE TO spend time cleaning it. We had promised to take the kids fishing today, and so when we finally got home from 'lunch' at 5, went and got the boat. It smelled like gas, and sure enough, somehow, there was gas everywhere, all over the boat, the fishnet, etc. Ry dumped it and then couldn't get the plug in again. Some guy out there told us it was missing a part. Great!! All this time, Emma is having a total fit because she doesn't want to go fishing, she wants to stay in the van. Finally, we come to the conclusion that no, we can't take the boat out. Ever the optimist, I tell them we can at least fish off the dock for a while. Until Emma melts down again. That's it! We left, all three of them crying, and me wanting to. Got home and Ry figured out the boat plug. He took the eldest two back to lake for some hopeful fishing time. I hope they have fun. They love it out there. Emma has been put to bed (where she needs to be) and I am looking at my house, wishing I lived anywhere but here- or here- with a maid!! Ahhhhh. Where to even start?? Chicken pox, a week of company, barfing, pulled muscle in my neck, out of town trip to the chiropractor, it just keeps coming, and nothing gets done. I don't know when or if it's possible to recover. So... that's my whine fest. I'll try to get over it.

To my hubby... Happy Father's Day. Thanks for your patience today. I can see God working in you as you look to become a Godly father and husband. The kids love you so much. I love you and I am proud of you. God Bless, sweetheart.
