Rememberance Day Events

Well, it's different for us this year, rememberance day, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps because of the horrible world that surrounds us, or maybe because the kids have a lot of questions about it that really make you think and appreciate.

Avery stood with a group of her classmates on Friday during thier assembly and spoke her poem, it was so cute!! She spent a week with no outside recesses to learn it.

Gabe, as part of the Beavers organization, took part in the march to the legion, and stood in the cold for the entire service. I was so proud of him. Then each child layed a wreath on behalf of the local businesses.

Yesterday was a lazy day. We had our neighbour and her kids over for quite a while, and visited, and in all, it was good. Today we're off to church, to be thanking God for His goodness to us. God bless, all, Char
