So I had to get firm with my little Avery Dawn yesterday when she came home in the -15 temps with no ski pants, no hat , hood or mitts on. And she was cold!! REALLY????
She was not impressed when I very firmly explained that she was to wear everything that I put on her in the morning when she came home from school as well!! In fact she was actually growling at me. That just made me more mad and I told her if I saw her without, she would be grounded from playing with friends for a week!! Her eyes just about popped out of her head, as she is 'Miss social scene.' But it's -20 today, and I'd rather she just doesn't freeze her pretty little parts off!! haha. Poor her.
Anyway, not much to say, really. I get to have my three little nephews over for a few hours today and tommorrow, as Ed and Manny are heading out of town for some fun together. I am so glad. The kids rarely get to play together, which really, is quite pathetic since we live in the same little town. But life gets busy, and school, and such add up to busy weeks. My kids are very excited and looking forward to the visit!!

I have begun to stress about this new baby a little. Not sure why, (hormonal fluctuation??), but I bawled on the phone to Manny this morning. (Thanks for listening and telling me I'm not a retard, love). I think I am early entering the nesting phase, because I'm feeling quite panicked that I am not 'ready' for this baby. I mean physically, as in crib, clothes, pampers, etc. Yes, I know it's completely premature, but I just can't help it.
So now Ryan is being super hubby, telling me not to stress (cause it's not good for me or the baby), and saying he'll put the crib up this weekend for me. Haha!! I don't think we need it up two full months before we are expecting!! Oh well, I guess I don't make any sense at all. Woulda been easier to know what sex baby was, for sure. Then I woulda had a name, the clothes ready, etc. But the surprise is so fun...

...And stressful!! (Yes, I'm sure Dawn is saying "I know!!! Why didn't you find out?) lol.
Oh well, in all I am sooooo blessed, and life is really good. Hugs, all, Char

Yep....sounds like a pregnant woman's blog post!!! ;)
Don't fret, your worries are the same as thousands of other pregnant mommma's out there and just think of all the wonderful friends and family you have to help you out if your little one did indeed happen to come early! There are A LOT in this world who are not so blessed!!
Have a good time with all the kidlets!!
Hey Char,
I remember feeling the EXACT same way right about the same stage you are at. So, you are not a "retard" you are completely normal! (Well, somedays that is up for debate!) We are off to Antigua now and will return Mar.11, so I will have to catch up then on everything. Hugs to all,
Love ya,
Trisha
Hello miss normal,
ahh the joys of pregnancy, worrying about getting ready, puking, can't see your feet, it's a good thing that little ones are so worth all the fuss eh?
Guess what,
my baby is walking! He toddles around pleased as punch with himself. And my life changes yet again... sigh,
You are a nicer mommy than my mom, when we shed our winter clothes she would walk us to the bus and home holding our hand. Alana was in grade 4 at the time. SHe learned very quickly and I know miss A will too.
Have a great week,
C
It's never to early to put up the crib. Ours is up already, and I'm not due till July....lol.
