Oh my silly silly Gabe!!
The other day Ryan and I were drinking slushies with the kids. Ryan made a comment about how some people can snort a spagetti noodle up their nose and pull it like floss through thier nose and mouth (I know- ewwww). Then I made a comment that I used to have a friend who could snort up milk and cry it out as tears.
Gabe took a big drink of his slurpee and then started snorting like crazy!! When he was done he took a deep breath, turned to Avery and said "Okay, now SLAP ME!!!"
HAHAHAHA!!!!
This morning I was getting his coat for him and dropped it on my foot, OW!!! There was quite literally 17 toonie-or-bigger-sized rocks in there!!! Grrrrrr. They are now decorating my flower garden!!
And to top it off, every load of Gabe's laundry ends in surprises...
Today we had.....
A Star Wars gun, a pop can tab, and -No kidding! A ROCK!!!!

I don't have to worry about finding things in the washer, but it's the back pack that creeps me out.
Jaala collects interesting pieces of grass and rock....but she also stuffs pieces of clay in (which dry into crumbly sand), random garbage that she wants to "recycle" into a project and squished pop cans "It's 5 cents mom!!!"
Having a sense of humor as a mom is sooooo valuable!

I was just telling someone about my favorite boy (that isn't mine) this morning. He is soooo awesome. We had a new Gabe born last week at our church and because of your son it is one of my favorite names!
