So, for my birthday, my family all got together at Ed and Manny's- THANK YOU MANNY!! I was very blessed with beautiful gifts, and delicious cheesecake!! I also got a handmade birthday hat from Junior, my very creative young nephew!! Sadly this is the best picture we got, but hey, it's better than nothing, eh? I am 31!!! Thirty was a great year, so let's hope for even more blessings in this one!!
So, anyway, today we went to Prince supposedly to enjoy a day away!! Haha, yeah right, eh Dawn??
The day started with Gabe absolutely freaking that I was going to Prince without him. He was screaming at me that I wasn't going to come home. Oh my goodness. That just puts a sick feeling in my gut, like 'does he know something that I don't??' Anyway, then I realized I had left my wallet in the van, which Ryan had at work, so we had to drive out to the mill to pick it up.
My poor best friend got rushed through the day due to a nasty headache that I've had for about a week now. Insightfully, she mentioned that maybe my blood pressure is up again, so I'll go check it tommorrow at the drug store.
We had to go take Ave for a test at the hospital and as awful as Emma crying at the dentist was, this was worse!! At least I got to be with her and talk her through. I swear life doesn't get any worse than when your child is in pain and you can't help them!!
Somehow we made it through, and thank goodness for Dawn!! I'm sorry it was such a rough 'day out' love- I seriously owe you another. WITH NO KIDS!!!!!
Seth was pretty good, only a couple minor meltdowns, but it's funny cause he really has a temper now and when he's mad- HE'S MAD!!! Everybody knows it!! lol..
Okay, so my mission, and yes, I choose to accept it, is to find wonderfully good things to blog about tommorrow. No more moping!! no more complaints!! Just blessings!!

YOU'RE apologizing to ME???!!!
I felt sick last night as I was trying to fall asleep. I totally should have at the VERY least taken Seth with me for the oil change..or not gone to get an oil change AT ALL!! There was no reason you should have had 2 screaming kids to deal with at the hospital while I was along for the day!! Sooo...I'm apologizing to you!!
We do need a no kids get-away soon...and we'll plan one for shortly after you are done nursing!!

Hope things have gotten better in the last couple days. Dentists and doctors with kids are horrendous. Give them all a hug for me.
