Hello again...

Sooo... We had Ave's birthday party at the church yesterday. It was a ton of fun. We played games and watched a movie on the big screen. The girls were so awesome!! We had a group of girls from the church and one little girl that Ave goes to school with. She didn't know any of the others. Avery did wonderful introductions and they all played really well together. I was so proud!!

Today was chaotic, but not bad. It was sunny but very very crisp. (Which is a nice way to say COLD!!!) . It is now rainy and dark out. yuck!! I got a lot accomplished and enjoyed my kids.

Took Ave and Gabe to the doctor. They had her test results back and the result is that we need to go for yet another consultation. They did find out what the problem is, and it will probably be corrected with a small surgery. Oh my guts are already in a twist!! I cannot imagine how parents of REALLY sicks kids handle it.

Gabe has some skin issues, really rough skin on his elbows, so we will remedy that too. And Ave got a refill for her puffers. Say goodbye to a bunch of $$!! But, we are blessed by good care.

The doctor is a wonderful lady, and she was asking me about the kids. When she found out that Emma was in preschool, she was excited. I guess her daughter goes and was talking about "Emma from school" that she wanted to play with. She also has a son who is 7. So hopefully this week they'll come for coffee, and the kids can play.

Tomorrow I need to go for a walk to do my "running around". Lol. Hopefully it's not pouring out anymore!!

God bless, all

Ugh, surgery! I really think it's harder on moms than their kids sometimes! Praying for you all! Very glad it's not serious though! It's so nice to know WHAT the problem is and that it can be fixed!

Glad that Avery had a good birthday. And that the surgery is minor. You really trounced me at Scrabulous. It's going to take me a while to recover!

Email me with details if you will. I'm so glad it's something that can be fixed! As a parent, it's hard to have kids sick but knowing they can be fixed is such a relief!

Love you all!
