The New Computer.

My husband left me.

He took our only vehicle.

He left me with the four kids.

But the worst thing of all... is that before he left me.... he bought me a new computer!!

AHHHHH!!!

I think he was trying to be nice, or maybe save some money on hair dye, being that I was getting grey hair waiting for pages to load on the old one. We couldn't use or read discs, etc, etc. It was crashing.

Sadly I am computer-stupid. Yes, you read right. I said stupid. And yes, I was talking about myself. Normally I'm fairly confident and I thought I was a pretty bright girl, but not anymore.

My pictures are naming themselves 1, 2, 3, 4, and then 1(A) 2(A) 3(A) etc. and putting themselves in the wrong order. I can't fix it.

When I'm 'browsing' for a picture (I'd much rather go browse a store, for the record), it only gives me titles, not the images. On the old windows, I knew how to fix this. That option no longer exists. I hate change.

I got a new photo program, the best! I can layer, add color, and all kinds of things! Sadly, I can't figure out how to simply crop a picture. There are thousands of functions, but I can't find that one.

I can't even make the headphones work. Before he left me, my husband was so excited that there was a spot where they stayed plugged in all the time! So they are connected, but not connected. Good times.

I suppose to make you all feel better, I could tell you that he is working. That's why he left. Eventually he'll come home, and in the meantime, he's trying to earn us some money.

Eventually I'll get the vehicle back, or another clunker to zoom us around in.

The four kids are amazing, and I'm so glad to be the one who gets to see them everyday, instead of the one who has to be away.

But the computer?

Well... it IS faster.
