A good weekend

Wow!! Did I ever have fun with Mom in Prince!! Shopped for new clothes (it's shocking the difference 6 pounds can make in fitting new clothes!!), in stores that weren't fields- yes!! I know, it's crazy. Then we went to Kelly O Briens for a lunch Date, just the two of us. It was great. Having time to visit and talk without interuption was such a refreshing change. I really needed that. Got to pick up some new house hold items for Mom, and found a great Painting for her Guest bedroom. Then we picked out light fixtures, and paint too!! In all, it was wonderful. The roads were great too!!

Saturday was good too, although Emmie is a little fussy. We went swimming and she cried almost the whole time. When we got home she went to bed at 5:00pm. Silly kid. Ed and Manny came over and we had a great lasagne dinner (thanks Manny) and played some games. Very fun.

Today we were excited about church. They presented all of the churches ministries, places and ways you can get involved to 'try it out'. So exciting. Ry was like me, couldn't choose just one thing. Then we had a meal auction to help raise money for our youth group's missions trip. It was really fun. I think everyone had a fun time. We are really excited about sharing our meals with the surprise hosts (you don't know who is offerring the meal). I can't wait. It should be a month of fun!!

The rest of the day has been quiet. No big plans. Just a nice family day.
