Homesick...again

Bummer Dude!! Last night I was encouraging Manny (and myself) about making new friends, and the time it takes to make them irreplacable. I was giving her real-life examples about me and my friend Chrisie. When we were becoming friends, I remember having coffee with her and she'd be laughing at something and I would have absolutely no idea what it was. Somehow, we kept on coffee-ing until I understood and loved everything about her, and she was irreplacable in my life and heart. Sadly, after that conversation, my heart was a little sad. What was i thinking? Now i miss my Chrisie.

THEN last night I had a dream that I went to visit my friend Teri who lived in a cabin by a lake. (she doesn't really). Anyway, it was just like we'd never been apart, and we talked and talked and talked. It was so real, and now I am missing her like crazy too. Yuck!!

I always have felt that moving a lot is an adventure, and that there are amazing people everywhere to be known and discovered, but today my heart is reprimanding me a little.

Too many new places means too many good and amazing friends left behind.

So to my friends left behind, I miss you, and no matter how far we my be in distance, I promise that indeed, you are coming along on all my adventures, in my heart and mind. Love you love you love you!!!!! Char
