Halloween fun!!

Well, Halloween has come again, and Thank goodness it's almost over!

This morning We took our pumpkins to the school for their pumpkin carving contest, and Avery's Cinderella coach won!! Yahoo!! She also won second place in a Halloween writing contest for all grade 3s. What a good girl!! At lunch the kids came home to get into their costumes. Then back to school. I took Emmie to a Halloween party at the rec center, which was INSANE!! Remind me not to go next year!! She had fun making the crafts, though.....

Then we had 'the gang' over for Halloween snacks. We were a packed bunch, but it was really fun... Here are some of the snacks... The swamp water with floating hands (ice)...

Pumpkin doughnuts... serpent sandwiches (made by my mom), and the skull cake....

And then there was the trick or treating... We enjoyed being out without snow!!!! It was a very weird feeling... but wonderful!!! The kids were warm and even Seth came out! Although my back is killing me from carrying him for an hour... and no, I didn't bring a candy bag for 'him' to hold!! This is me, not Ryan.. teehee.....

Anyway, hope you are all safe and sound, and not too sick. I'm off to cuddle with my man and watch a movie.

Night all!!
