Well, today was one of those days. Those days where you hate money because there is never enough. The day when you forget TWICE to actually turn the dryer on, and thus progress through your 48 loads of laundry. The day there you literally trip over the vacuum as you are vacuuming and end up making more of a mess trying on winter boots than you clean without cleaner because you misplaced it somewhere. Ahhhhh..... I know, it makes no sense.
BUT, my baby boy had his first meal tonite, and he gobbled it!!! I am hoping for a better sleep tonite, and so I filled him with pablum. There was no messing around, he just downed it!! I am still a bit surprised as the other kids did a lot of spitting when they 'learned' to eat. He just got it!! So, the experiment is on!!
I pulled Emmie from playschool today. She'd been telling me that she really didn't want to go, and she'd rather do other things. The wonderful teacher assured me that Emma is great and really didn't NEED to be there for any developmental issues. She said that they were there as a support to parents and that Em would be fine at home. So I felt a bit better. It's rough, making all these big decisions.
Ryan took his midterm today and scored a 90 percent!! Tied for highest in the class! I am so proud. The guy has been studying his butt off!! The midterm doesn't count towards the final grade, but it was a great confidence booster for him. It's so hard to know if you are absorbing anything when you are cramming so much info in at once! Good job, honey!! By the way, for those who don't know, he's working on his Occupational First Aid level 3, which is killer!!! Keep praying for sure!!
So, I've decided to write a book. It's non fiction, for kids. Just need a few more hours a day to work on it. hmmmm. Maybe Seth will sleep in and I'll be up anyway, hacking away!! Teehee. you just never know.
Anyway, hugs to y'all, Char

I'm glad that Seth took the cereal so well, but a little sad for you. Spud took cereal well too, and fruit and yogurt and cheese and anything that wasn't nailed down. Still does. Your grocercy bills are going to be insane. He will need to get a paper route as soon as he can ride a bike to help out! At least this is what we tell Spud!
Hope you have a wonderful afternoon,
Hope you had a good trip to the city!!
