Update

So... things have been crazy busy around here. We took the boat out again, borrowed Dad's motor, and had a blast!! We didn't come home with any fish, but hooked a HUGE lake trout (at least we think it was a lake trout). It was dark colored with spots. I was reeling, and literally we all got to see it over the side of the boat. It was probably ten pounds!! Anyway, it bent the rod completely in half, and just when we almost had him in the net, he dived under the boat and the line snapped!! Oh man!! Ed and Manny heard our cries of disbelief from across the lake!! The worst part was that he took Ry's new fishing lure with him!! Well, maybe it was worse that we didn't land it!! Only the second trip out, and already we have -The One that got away... Ah well, it was exciting and the kids had a blast too, so who cares? (Except Ryan, of course, teehee).

Yesterday, I had the great fortune of having a day to myself. Manny watched Gabe and Emma for me, and I got some housework done. Lots of that sorting type work you can't do with 'little helpers'. It was so awesome!! Thanks, Manny!!

So, today Mom and Dad left for their 2 week holiday. This means i have the sweet baby Adam for the next 2 days, and then next week. he is a handful, and Ry, of course is on nights, and sleeping upstairs in the day, so I'll probably be downstairs on the computer a little more than usual, especially if it keeps raining out!!
