Emma's Journal

Love my kids, and I love seeing their school journals. Like anyone, I guess it's an invite into their minds. What they think, what matters to them, and how they perceive life and the people around them. Here is one of my favorite Emma entries. You may be able to read it okay, below, but I'll type it out anyway, as close as I can.

"thursday, 2011, emma, 17th

When I am 100 years Old I will be in bed probly sleeping. Or talking on the Phone with my grand kids. and haveing my grand chileren over to play with me. I will be watching t.v. I wll be dressing up with my grand dolters. have gray hair. reading books. have a hearing ad. nitting. in a weel chair or have a cane. sleep with my moth open. watch the news in my chair will nitting. teaching my grand kids haw to play peano. be a hip hop grama. be a grama. lay in bed all day. not be able to hear vary well."

That's it. She ran out of page and stopped the entry altogether.

For the record, I think she will be an awesome hip hop grama. :) Gotta love her!
