Hi friends and family, how are you all? Really, let me know with a click of the comments. If you don't live here, I probably miss you!!
Well, today was a busy day. We got up, got ready for church, forgot about the time change, and had an extra hour of hearing "how much longer till the halloween party?". Yeah!! Anyway, FINALLY it was church time and we headed out. The kids sand 'Jesus is my Superhero' at the front of the church. It was so cute. Gabe jumped up and down like crazy, Ave got all the actions perfect, and Emma just stood there giving everyone a slightly confused and quite a dirty look! Then we were off to the kids games and stuff. It was great. Each station had a bible verse to accompany it. For example the cookie station had 'Oh taste and see the Lord is good'. Of course Gabes fave was the fishing pond. Ave liked the beanbag toss and Em was upstairs with the babies, and she just really liked the candy bag she got when she left! Unfortunately I forgot my camera. Oh well.
I had a good laugh on the way out of church. I got congratulated on the good news. That stunned me into silence for a sec, then I started laughing. See, I have a friend named Charlotte who is going to the same church, but we just started attending at the same time, so nobody really knows who's who yet. SHE is expecting twins!! I am NOT!!! She though it was pretty funny too.
After church it was off to the Buhlers. We had chicken nachos. MMMM good!! Then we carved pumpkins. Ryan only bought one this year, usually we get at least two, but he said the kids could share. Guess what though? Today, he decides that he needs his own pumpkin to create. So Dawn and I go traipsing all over Mackenzie trying to find a pumpkin. Finally after being told by the store clerk that there were no more in town, a customer on the way out yelled that there was one at the back on a shelf by the chips. And there was! It had a mushy spot on the back so we got it for free. Yeah for Ry!!
Anyway, here is a pic of the kids, scraping out the 'guts'.
Here is Ry and Dale working on their creations. Working very hard, I might add.
Here I am, helping the kids. Not working so hard, it appears. haha.

Here's the finished products.
Mine first. It says "Put her in a pumpkin shell, and there he kept her, very well."
And here it is all lit up.
And here's Ry's.
Pretty cool, eh?
Then after we cleanup THAT mess, we decided to paint the kids tummies. Crazy, I know, but I guess Dawn's kids had seen her pics of Bridgets pumpkin tummy. She promised them that on the weekend she would paint THIER tummies for them. Sooo...
TaaDaa!!
You may notice that Emma is not in most of these pics. That would be because she mostly was naked!! Big surprise. I'm a little worried about that girl.
Anyway, then it was into the tub, two at a time, and then we cane home. since then, I've cleaned up the house, watched the end of a movie, spent a LONG time on this blog, and reminded myself many times...It's only 8:30...It's only 8:30...
Goodnite, all.

And forget the "yesterday" part of my last comment. I must have fallen asleep already here at the computer or something...or else this has REALLY been a LONG day!
