Well, the baby's doing well!! In the last two days, he gained back 4 ounces, which is awesome!! He screamed through his entire check up, but then nursed and slept through the mandatory grocery shopping we had to do together!!
MY checkup- not as good. My blood pressure is still really high, although it did lower from it's pregnancy levels. It's wierd cause I watched Greys Anatomy yesterday and there was a preggo woman with high BP, who started siezing, which is what they were trying to avoid by inducing me. My doctor just kept shaking her head, and saying how thankful she was that I came in that day. It was scary seeing her so shaken, being that I didn't realize how bad it really was.
Now we'll have a home care nurse coming to take my pressure every day or two and if it doesn't come down, I'll have to go on medication for a while, possibly for good. She said if I have more children this could be a very serious issue. Good thing I was planning to adopt the next ones anyway!!
So, the high pressure manifests itself in serious headaches (Tylenol is my new best friend, 3 at a time, regularly throughout the day), and fatigue. I laughed at the fatigue part, because I just had a baby, of course I'm tired. But I had commented to a friend this week that I wasn't bouncing back nearly as quickly as I had with the other kids. So, perhaps that's why.
Anyway, I'd appreciate your prayers in that direction.

Also, Ave and Gabe were up more times than Seth last night. Ave was all stuffed up, Gabe kept sneezing, and having bad dreams. Ugh! We've been praying that Seth will be protected and that his immunities will be high. It's so awful when they have a cold at this age!!
Other than that, I made it through my post partum 'crybaby' day. (Yesterday). Thanks for all the nice comments on the last post, it helped. I even cried about how perfect my baby was. The doc was laughing at me!! I was laughing at me too!!
Today is Gabe's party, I will post pics later, we are quite excited about it. I was smart and kept it short and Gabe kept the number down. His best friends are his friends, no peripherals for him!
Hope all is great for you. Love the comments, and miss most of you like crazy. (Wait a minute, the crybaby day was YESTERDAY!!!) lol. Love ya, Char

I've been praying for you guys everyday, don't worry, just listen to the doc!!
Just look at what our bodies can endure, look at me, sometimes it just takes a little more time to bounce back. Love you!
Ohhhh...you make ME want to cry for you!!! lol
(It'll be me next week crying if we do get this puppy!! lol)
You're doing everything PERFECTLY!!! Seth is AMAZING!! How blessed are you!!
I'll be praying for healthier kids and a lower blood pressure!!
Love you bunches!!
how well I know the high blood pressure, I was on blood pressure medication for 8 weeks after she was boorn, then 1/2 a dose for another 6. The thing I hated most, besides the headache, was the sweating!!!! EWWW!
So, take your tylenol, get a good nap, and remember that you are loved.
PS, are you feeding that boy cream??? 4 ounces good for him!!!!!
Praying that your bp is back down in no time!!!! Please don't tell me we're only allowed 1 crybaby day. I still take them occasionally! Missing you,
C
