Yesterday was April Fools Day, and Ryan had a blast calling people and telling them we'd had or were having the baby!! It was funny how many people fell for it.It was really cute cause at one point he called Dawn, and then as she answered he started yelling at the kids "Gabe go help mommy, Emma get your boots on..." then went on to talk to Dawn.
Now, she was too smart for him, but the kids were completely lost!! Gabe came upstairs and found me in the bathroom, putting on makeup. He stood there looking very cute and lost until I figured out that he was there to 'help me', like daddy had told him to!! Emma came running up the stairs and urgently wanted makeup on. I told her only lipstick for the day. She put on her little lipstick and then announced that she was ready!! I told her we had another ten minutes or so to play before we left for church, and she said 'but Daddy said to get my boots on!!"
So unwittingly, Ryan also fooled the kids. They are soooo sweet!!

I was some surprised when we survived Sunday School teaching 22 Grade 2 kids and not 1 April Fool's joke. Phew....that could have been scray!
