A Blessing for Avery

So last night I got a phone call from the rec center. Avery had just finished her session of swim lessons, minus a few. First, the teachers strike missed her one, then Rememberance Day, then last week, which should have been the last lesson, the pool shut down because of mechanical problems. Anyway, Ave enjoyed herself thoroughly for every lesson she did get to. However, because the class missed thier last lesson, they didn't get evaluated. So... no report, and no idea what level they should be in next time. So the lady from the Rec Center calls and says that the lifeguard will call to set up a time for Ave to get tested, and that because of all the missed classes, her next set of lessons will be free of charge!! Yahoo! Silly, really, cause I would have paid the money for her to go, but my tummy was all giddy for the next two hours. Just so happy for my little swim princess. She is such a blessing, and I love it that she has a passion. Anyway, just wanted to share a little blessing with all of you.
