Hey friends, I got an email warning forwarded today, and it sounds legitimate. It was quite lengthy however, so I thought instead of posting it all, I'd give you the gist myself. It seems that people are being approached by persons claiming to sell 'cheap brand-name perfumes'. They ask you if you'd like to smell it. They are quite elaborate, will have price lists, pictures, and tell you that they accept visa, mastercard and debit. However, the 'perfume' you can sample is a drug called ETHER. You basically knock yourself out, they take your packages, wallet, valuables, while you lay alone in the parking lot. I'm told this is happening in Calgary. So...Don't smell the perfume!!! Please!! Believe me it takes a lot of ether to render one unconscious, it cannot happen with just a whiff, any of us older folks who had their tonsils out would be able to tell you that.
