In pregnancy, you count by a 40 week calendar. Tommorrow I will be 37 weeks along, meaning only 3 weeks to go...
I follow a pregnancy week by week website, which gives you tip and hints as your pregnancy progresses, such as..
Week 30- "you may be having some trouble sleeping now...- DUH!!!
Week 31- "Your abdomen may be aching frequently now as your uterus is stretching more and more..." YIPEE!!
Week 32- Your uterus is measuring about 5 inches above your navel and is pushing your organs every which way causing heartburn, indigestion, constipation and breathlessness. WHY DO PEOPLE EVER GET PREGNANT ANYWAY????
Anyway, today I was reading up on week 37 (as I should be), and it said "The baby could come at anytime. Is your hospital bag packed yet?
...Unexpected things happen during labor and delivery so try to plan for as many things as possible while keeping in mind that flexibility is important. Try to have all the little details completed beforehand so you can handle the unexpected events. Just what are these little details? How about . .
*Routes to the hospital mapped out (okay, turn left, go straight, and turn left again. We're there!!) - and have more than one route in case a road is blocked for whatever reason (Well, I guess we could park and walk the block from wherever there may be a road blockage??)
*Know where the entrances to the hospital and the parking lots are located (hmmmm, again, one door, one entryway, one parking lot. Small town, here).
So I guess I'm completely prepared now!! Haha. Anyway, God bless, all and have a great day!!
